How Our Day Album handles your wedding data.

This page explains what we collect, how it is used, and how long it is retained for Our Day Album users.

What we collect

When you create a wedding album, we collect owner and event information needed to run that wedding: name, date, and private wedding code. We also collect photos, hearts, guest names, and guestbook notes that guests upload through the album. During checkout we receive payment metadata needed to confirm payment.

How we use your data

We use this information to:

create and host a private wedding gallery for a single event
let guests join with the private wedding code from a browser
show owners and guests only the content for that wedding
support moderation, download, and support follow-up
process your payment securely with Stripe

Service access and visibility

Guests can only access a wedding album through the private code for that event. Owners can view and moderate that wedding's content, including hiding and restoring photos or guestbook entries.

We do not sell or rent your data

We do not sell or rent wedding data. We only share it with service providers needed to operate the product (including Stripe for checkout).

Cookies and device data

We use standard technical logs and cookies or similar browser storage to support security, prevent abuse, and keep the guest join and upload flows working on the day of your wedding.
